Cameron is a professor at the Health and Public Safety Institute and in the Community Studies program at Algonquin College, Ottawa.  She is currently working towards a PhD with Naomi Goldenberg in the field of Critical Religion at the University of Ottawa, and she is a Technical Services Assistant for The Religion and Diversity Project.

Cameron also works for CISV International, a program devoted to Peace Education curriculum development worldwide.  With CISV, she has worked at the national level (Canada) as well as internationally, in Sweden, Japan and Belgium.

Cameron is an avid photographer and her work was shortlisted in CIDA’s 2008 photojournalism competition.
