Hunter, Russell O.

Russell O. Hunter is a candidate for an MRes – Humanities at the University of Stirling and is the student representative for the MRes Humanities. He is researching and exploring the impact of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), or better known as drones, on the relationship between Eastern and Western societies. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Richmond, USA. In his lectures he discussed Drone Strikes: A Case for a Moral Response and Counterterrorism/Antiterrorism Strategy. He is scheduled to hold a seminar in December 2014 on the evolution of drones. He holds a Master Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Richmond. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant Major in 2009 with over 24 years of military service. He has multiple awards and citations both professional and academic.
